Stop the Clock!

Since their last visit to Poland, they have rarely left their homeland and put their (already sparse) recording activities on hold. Some fans started to worry that the title of their most recent album, 10,000 Days, needs to be taken literally. Fortunately Tool stopped the countdown before reaching the halfway point, and all being well in late summer we will hear their first studio album since 2006. Before then, on 11 June, Maynard James Keenan and co. headline the Impact Festival. The main stage at Tauron Arena Kraków also hosts Alice in Chains from the cradle of grunge that is Seattle, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club from California. The lineup of rockers appearing at the small stage includes guests from the UK (Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats), Greece (1000mods) and France (FIEND). (Bartosz Suchecki, “Karnet”)
