Many violinists envy her popularity – Lindsey Stirling is a star of the digital age. The charismatic American musician performs at Tauron Arena Kraków on 24 February.

Although you could point out some technical shortcomings, she’s certainly very original. She became popular in 2010 through the TV show America’s Got Talent, but she really shot to fame online. The artist uploads dazzling videos to her YouTube channel – and there’s no denying the fact that she skilfully combines the classics with hip-hop and dubstep, and she’s an excellent dancer. Still not enough?

Stirling is right on the ball when it comes to knowing what’s popular. Every now and again she uploads her interpretations of soundtracks from cult fantasy films and videogames.
