Jazz is in constant bloom in Kraków, no matter if it’s spring, summer or even winter. The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music has its share in this phenomenon – a diminished seventh chord here, a pentatonic scale over there, a little of minor blues, a pinch of Coltrane harmony…
The concert of the series Jazz at the Academy take place throughout the year to present the accomplishments of Academy’s students in this genre. Stay tuned!

The next concert will feature jazz ensembles of the students and lecturers, as well as the Big Band of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków under the direction of Wojciech Groborz.

The special guest of the concert will be Nikola Kołodziejczyk, Polish jazz pianist, composer, arranger and conductor born in Kraków.
